hello! For all you people out there who got that annoying message while trying to download sims (the directX compatible one) i have MY solution. WELL it's not a solution but someone was there to explain it to me in english. It kinda annoys me.. and i wont get to play until i have about 150 bucks $$ But i got a professional to look at my computer because i was soo upset that i couldnt play ... and he told me that the game is asking for a new video card or what not. Well for some people that was pretty obvious..but i'm no computer expert so i had no idea :S lol Yes.. it's a shame that no one (we some people) are unable to play the sims 2 I'm very upset and i'm sure you all are.. this damn "card" is going to cost me a fortune..

ok.. i'm having kinda the same problem. Except i have downloaded directx 9.0c off the microscoft website and i ran "dxdiag" and it says what it should. ALTHOUGH when i run sims 2 it stops and says that iti dont have it! I'M SOO CONFUSED!

Alrighty.. i dont understand why this warning that says: "Failed to find any Directx 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a Direct X 9.0c graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate." *frustraded* I <b>HAVE</b> DirectX 9.0 i just downloaded it.. and i kno for a fact that i have it. Please can somebody help me?!
