    Hey greatmover, that would be good advice but I tried doing what you said and I can't seem to find a "target" window when I'm in The Sims 2 properties. I am running on Windows XP Home Edition.

    When I try playing the Sims 2, I get this little pop-up with no message, only a red circle with a white 'x' in it. My computer is compatible with the Sims 2, so I don't know what's wrong. Can someone please help?!?
