i have gta3 . i installed it successfully.when i run it some video like intro appears then the computer HAngs! i tried on my dads pc it worked perfectly fine! i have- p4,256 ram,2 ghz . my dad's pc has lower config. than mine but it still works fine! HOW??Why?? Help!!! P.S:can someone tell me the age limit for this game!some told me its actually 18+ although the box says 15+.

Ok! my problem seems strage to me. everything was OK. i dunno when but this problem has appeared. whenever i leave my computer alone for a few minutes i.e without working on it, instead of a screensaver coming up the monitor switches of .(not that the monitor button switches of!)when i press any key or move the mouse the monitor does not switch on . it just gets HUNG! i'll have to soft boot it!help!someone Help me please its just So IRRITATING! HELp!

Thanks! someone had set 'turn off monitor' option to 5 minutes! as for the hanging part , after changing the settings my monitor has 'nt switched off for a while!so i think that prob. my not arise for a long time! anyway once agin thanks for that help!

oops, sorry,what i meant was -some told me the actual age was 15+(in some countries)while the box has 18+.anyway, i think i cannot play this game and have decided to 'give it away' to my cousin. anyway thanks for u'r help. Ok! I have windows 98 os and i want to install winxp. i have an original cd too. the problem is when i inserT it and then click on 'check compatiblility' button an error message-E:\1386\WIN9XUPG\W95UPG.DLL is missing and cannot upadate. But then the microsoft upadate adivisor pops up . there i select the radio button -'yes update filles(recommended)'. it reads 'downloading from net' and then automatically closes! thats it! the error msg pops up agin when the'check comatibility' is selected.the same one! cant i ever install xp?? and what is the difference 'tween installing xp fresh and 'up[censored]' it?how do i resolve this prob. b]HELP!HELP!PLEASE HELP[[/b]

Alec, thanks a lot. but the prob. is i am doing this kind of os instalation for the FIRST time. so please tell me how do i install 2 os's , 'in detail'. if i do so 'll the hard disk space get equally distributed ? and what's 'fat32'? plz explain everything in detail.

I have been using WINdows 98 since a year. I dunno when, but i have recently realised that 2 Mb RAM has vanished from my total memory which was 256MB RAM. i am sad that my system is not able to satisfy the min. system requirements for some games and softwares. Using the EA system info , i found out that - Total Memory: 254 Mb Free memory: 2 mb what is this free memory? has it gotta do anything with the vanishing 2 mb RAMs.Please help me to gain back those 2mb RAMs.

help!MY CD-ROM DRIVE HAS GONE 'MAD'!!I have a 52x one. each time i switch on the system and the OS loads it just opens up!!actually it will open up suddenly anytime! another prob. is that it wont auto-run any cd and yes, i 've ensured that the auto-run feature is activated in the settings.please help!!

i just follwed what u said but..after services there is no cdrom instead there is 'EVENTLOG' and yes by the way i have 2 cd-rom drives both have the same auto-run problem. plz continue helping...

well.the error message displayed is clear enough,i think u'r graphic card doe't support directx 9 or may be u just have to update u'r driver. wel..first tell me what grpahic card do u have?

right click on u'r desktop -then select settings tab-then advance buton-select adapter -now read thhe graphic card u have and send it away as quickly as u can!!

mammoth i'll as u this question but please dont misunderstand me- are u using an original disk?well..if yes see whether u are inserting the proper disk(try inserting the next(2) disk) or else just clen it up and try it out.

hello! i brought this new expansion pack- makin magic. i don't have other expansion packs. but i have the original game 'the sims', which i bought a couple of years back. my problem is i have installed 'the sims' on my system,but the expansion pack does not recognise it and yes i have the original version. help me! what is the file the expansion looks for??

i have double the system requirements for running this game yet the game runs a bit slow. eg: the soldiers run in some kind of a slow motion ,but yes the cursor moves around quickly.what may be the problem?? any help??
