  1. Wow, that one was a booger. I finally located this site and read through the thread and it made things easier. I messed with my XP system for 3 hours first though.. tried a lot of the things others mentioned above. I ended up booting into safe mode, running adware to remove the sp.html from the registry, and deleted the file. Then I did a search for any dll's created today and found one - mee.dll (random names I see). I deleted it. I then manually searched the registry for, and deleted, all references to the dll and the html file (did not find any more of the html but I wanted to make sure). I did this all while disconnected from the network. I reset my home page and rebooted. I checked the browser and it sayed so I conencted the network and rebooted again. Surfed around a bit and all seems ok. Thanks for the info everyone!! Just a quick note. Someone above mentioned SP2 for XP might stop this. I have SP2, didn't help. Chuckster65
