  1. I've got this same problem on my system (Win2K Pro) and have been unsuccessful at getting rid of it now for about a month. The program that seems to regenerate a new randomly named .dll in the system32 folder (always 30k in size) is IE. I have run all the same anti-spy programs that are listed here and even when it seems gone, a reboot and subsequent use of IE brings it back to life again. If I catch it early enough, I can manually delete the .dll and the system usually doesn't bog down but having this thing on my system is a serious problem since I don't know WHAT information it is capturing and sending out. If anyone ever finds a solution to this, please let me know. I have had some problems that have caused a lot of aggravation over the years, but this one is beyond my ability to solve. Thanks in advance for any continued information that might come along on this particular bug.
