ps/2 optical mouse with scroll wheel and 3 buttons.(scroll wheel can be clicked like a button ) installed as a 3-button mouse,mandrake 9.1 mouse worked fine till I re-configured left button to show main menu . now log on is fine,but mouse cursor is not visible. moving the mouse does have random effects.

All was well for a few hours,including a couple of reboots after a new Mandrake 9.1 install.Next day,no mouse cursor visible.Moving the mouse does have random effects on the screen.The only change I made earlier was to configure the left mouse button to display a menu.(KDE) Mouse is a std optical wheel mouse,with a centre button wheel.
