I used to have a problem just like that, but the source of the problem was the BIOS setup. I had enabled the computer to be turned on by pressing either any key or either mouse button, but my computer kept turning off without explanation. Finally, I went into my BIOS setup and disabled this feature, so that now only the power button in the front can turn the computer on or off. Problem solved!

Greetings all! I'm considering buying a portable MP3 player. I have a Pentium II 400 MHz with NT4 SP6. My motherboard has two USB ports, but I don't know if I can get them working with NT4. I have a load of MP3s on my hard drive that I'd like to take with me on the go. Are there any MP3 players that use the regular serial ports instead of USB? Any info will be apprieciated.
