    ISP connection problems

Hi all! I've managed to configure my modem and I can dial up using KPPP to my ISP. My problem is now when I open Mozilla and type in a URL (it can be anything) I get a screen from my ISP saying that there are problems logging on and I get told that my username and password are invalid. I know for a fact that they are correct. I am unable to proceed any futher than this. . Its getting so near yet so far! I am wondering if there is anything I have overlooked in setting things up. I'm going to try to reconfigure things as close as possible as they are in crapdows and see if that works. ie initialisation commands etc. Any other suggestions? Well at least I know my modem works! Oh, one other thing, is there any way that KPPP starts automatically when I open mozilla, like dial up connection starts when I open IE explorer in poopdows? Mandrake 9.2 Conexant HCF 56K Modem ISP is BT Yahoo (UK) Cheers, DBG.

Can't get Connexant HCF modem to work. Mandrake 9.2.

I've tried the instructions there and I've still had no luck. I'm probably doing something very simple wrong. I just can't see what it is though.
  3. Hi there. Most of my LINUX stuff is going great. My only problem is that I can't get my Connexant (Yuk!) modem to work. Can anyone help? I'm new to LINUX so easy step by step instructions would be appreciated! Thanks, DBG
