I am currently using Windows Xp and found a problem with my sound card. everytime i try to do something that involves a sound effect ( ie. the beep in Icq when typing a message) i hear crackles after crackles which are very disturbing. does anyone know why?

I had to format and reinstall my computer I finally installed my NVIDA 23.11 detonators and my on board sound an decided to play Jdoom everytime i start playing i get an error called RPC and says it needs to restart my Pc .... is there anyway to remove that and just completly change Windows Server 2003 it a workstation...

Me and my brother recently put together a Pentium 166mmx together with so leftover hardrives and stuff. I would like to try out some old games that I zipped up a long time ago on that computer but these old games are on CDRWs and wont work in that drive. I would burn it on a recordable but im like all poor people out there that don't have the money to waste my time... So if anyone knows how i can read RWS on (below 24x drive) could you tell me.

I believe if you have Windows XP with The Plus! pack thier is a program that does that exact thing a viseversa

Is it any good.............. people are saying its fast but its a "server" windows not a workstation. How are games like Quake 3 and Ut 2003 and stuff and what :x interface does it use....... 2ks or Xps...... Anyways who got money to afford such a product and pirating is not the way to go.

Sorry there is no possible way ( i speak from many many tries ) if you have or can get a copy of dos installed on your PC....... you can play the dos version

I've just formatted my Pc again and im now currently using Windows 2000 but when i launch Nolf2 no sound worked..... I thought it was my SB Live so i switched to my onboard sound yet the sound in Nolf 2 Still boesn't work is thier a reason??
