The exact settings that didn't work in Evolution, work fine in KMail. Are you using Evolution 1.4, or are you using the version of Evolution that came with SuSE 8.2?

I am having a problem setting up evolution with my Cox e-mail. No matter what I try When I try to receive mail the smtp ber goes across right away but the pop bar just hangs and it says fetching mail. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with Evolution and Cox. I know that the problem is with Evolution, because when I put the exact same settings in K-mail it works flawlessly.
