Machine Check: Regs in event viewer on boot

This is my favorite XP service tweak site. They also have Windows 2000 service tweaks. Nothing to report. Microsoft tech support know nothing. The guy i spoke didn't really know what Event Viewer was... This sure does look like an XP+AMD thing because i had the same problem with my Athlon Tbird 1200. At least everything is stable*. I still wanna know what this event is though. Last time i checked EventID had nothing useful. Googleing showed some infomation and also lead me here no too long ago. If i find out anything new i'll let everyone here know. *I've run Prime95 while surfing, gaming, playing music, burning CDs etc and left Prime95 running for ~20 hours. I left 3Dmark 2001se and Prime95 running for six hours with no problems. I ran Memtest86 set to All Tests (takes 8-10 hours). So yeah, i think everything's stable.

Machine Check: Regs in event viewer on boot

I'm having the same problem and my system seems to be 100% stable. I have been trying to find out what this is for ages. I get six to eight reports in a row at cold boot (before it was every boot). The event is marked as 'information' so i don't think it's an error, more like an FYI.
