    Web page design software

I'm looking for an easy to use (newbie) program that can design nice web pages. I'm willing to learn alot so a program that has alot of capability would be great. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Firewire Connector to Header (without card)

I've got a similiar problem as you VoilentGreen. Mine however is my sound card has a firwire connection to it but the internal connectors do not match up , jumper-for-jumper with the connector on the front of my case. If anybody has suggestions for this related instance, let me know. Thanks.
  3. Hey all, I'm looking into getting a DVD_Rom (not writer) for use in watching DVD's while at the 'puter. I have priced out some models and the reviews of the brands go either way. Any preferential unit models and manuf's you could suggest would be great. Thanks in advance!

The Discovery Channel new series "American Chopper&quot

yeah, i watch all those shows. They are really cool especially during the rerun season during the summer. If you like Monster Garage, check out Monster House. Similiar to Garage but with a house instead of a car. All 3 shows are broadcast on monday nights so it makes for a very enjoyable evening.
  5. ;( Hi all, I'm looking into how i can password protect a web page using FrontPage 2002. I know that using a *.asp file will work, however, my web host does not offer that capability (it's free web space from my ISP). Any suggestions would be great. It does not have to be a top notch secure web page, just some personal & family info i do not want just anybody stumbleing into. Thanks in advance for any help!

Looking for A good Web Cam

I wasn't sure what the standard TV fps were and wanted a nice feed. If 30 fps is over-the-air TV quality then i think i found the one in the Logitech QuickCam 4000 ($99 US). Thanks again for the input guys. I really appreciate it. Later.

Looking for A good Web Cam

Hi all, I'm looking for a reliable, high quality web cam but one thats relatively inexpensive (say $100 US). I've done some looking and found that most web cams only offer 30 fps for video feed. Are there any that are higher, megapixel rating isn't as important as a higher frames per second rate. Thanks in advance!

    fileshareing/mp3 news

Quote: It does mean thatt he software that is out there can stay though. The only thing you may not be aware of is that ruling was made by 1 Federal District Court Judge. It hasn't even been appealed (at least not yet) to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Fransisco (I beleive). If it upheld there then the ruling would still not be very effective to the rest of the country, It would only be binding in the Western States that comprise the 9th Circuit. The other Circuit Courts do not have to abide by the ruling for their districts. That is why the case, or one like it, would have to reach the Supreme Court and for them to rule on it, or not, for a definitive answer to the file-sharing fiasco we have nowadys.

    Logitech Cordless Elite

Quote: So are you using the drivers that came on the CD int the box, updated drivers, or MS drivers MS drivers with Intellimouse Optical Explorer as the mouse config. Yes you will not be able to use the neat function keys, but i really haven't a need for them. Just liked the look and the cordless optical aspects. Been doing great since i got them, they just use batteries up especially the mouse, but it worth it. :x

    Logitech Cordless Elite

I'm not familiar with XP but i hav had the Cordless Elite Duo Optical for 6 months and I have had no problems with it. IT works great in UT2K3 and other programs. Lag is almost none existent in UT2K3 compared to the standard corded setups. However, i do not use the software from Logitech with this setup. I use the updated MS Intellimouse drivers. They work perfect in regards to UT2K3 (the Logitech would work at all). My advice is to uninstall the Logitech drivers and go with the MS. That should help out alot with UT2K3. I agress with the mouse setup, it does need to be redesigned. Good Luck!

Just so you 'll know, NEVER UNPLUG YOUR FANS!!!! It can only hurt you unless you are running some sort of liquid cooling system with them, unless you want a fifty pound paper wait. hehehe
