Thanks to this post I feel much more secure

After the steps of ttmkfdir, mkfontdir and mkfontalias.py you can add the fontpath with the command (as root I think): Code: xset fp+ /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype Worked for me! Grz.
