  1. Thanks for your help. I knew it was an easy fix if I just knew where to ask the question.
  2. Thanks for the help, here it is. [boot loader] timeout=0 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect C:\="Previous Operating System on C:"
  3. I just re-installed Win2K on my laptop after formating the HD and now it thinks I have two operating systems on the machine even though there is only one. Is there a way to get rid of this menu so I it will boot faster? Thanks, Chris
  4. I like thousands of other XP users chose to at least disable Messenger when XP first came out but un-hiding it and uninstalling it. Things worked great. Then after SP-1 for XP Professional was release I chose to uninstall Messenger the conventional way. After doing so it takes almost a minute for outlook to start up and it’s getting really annoying. Then for work I needed to install it to talk with someone in Canada so I tried to install it. Says it is installed, the icon is in that programs menu but when I click on it nothing happens and outlook still takes forever to start. Anyone know what is going on and how to fix it? Thanks, Chris
