Thanks for that info. That is what so confusing. I did delete the Beta.... Like I said....Thank you much for the info

I have a similar problem....After I loaded a beta version of SP1 to the corp versuin of XP, it added "Windows Xp Professional" and then the service pack and version to the bottom right of the page. I've tried tweak ui and can't find the setting to remove this.

Any body know how to remove this information from the desktop? Thanks for your time!!
