Thanks..I will make sure the user has the proper permissions to copy the files. but what happen if the user already download the file, and when they next login, will they download the file again? if yes, how do you aviod that ? coz I have a very slow network and i don't what to floods the network either.

I have never written a logon script before but I got to write a logon script for download font from the server to the local(other) computer. so what should I do ?I know how to put it on, but I can't fight it out how to write the script... is this line right ? REM copy drive:/file/file/file.file(drive in the server) drive:/file/file.file(drive in the local or user's computer)

Wow....This is so cool..and fast.... 8) I like this very much......I like those new feature. It gave me a (big) suprice when I come in (since I am working on my board for a couple day. Also backup is very important too, because not all the Dynamic Volume have fault tolerant. (like Simple, Spanned and Striped) and in my experience, you can't switch the dynamic disk to other computer like you did with basic disk.

Oh! I am using Win2k server, but I don't think that the Domain Administrator have change any things (since I am the only domain administrator in my domain)

I don't understand why it won't started up, plus I didn't set it up it either. I think it's probably because there are 20 servers messing around in the same network. One of them have hacked into my server couple days ago. and change some stuff, I am going to ask him did he change any thing in my server.

Well! I did it already, but the error message still pop up after I restarted the computer ....... When I look at the event viewer, it show me this message: "The Remote Storage File service hung on starting."

actually! I am just going to disable it, and see what will happen to it first.

Sure! here is the error message. At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details And then when I go to the event log, I see this: The Remote Storage Engine service depends on the Remote Storage File service which failed to start because of the following error: After starting, the service hung in a start-pending state. so what exactly is going on?

It alway pop up a message said that 'there is more then one server/service can not be start up' and then is ask me to check the event log. But I still don't understant what wrong with it after I read the event log. So Is there any way to fix it? It's driving me crazy
