  1. Try "microangelo"...Its a shareware program that will allow editing, creating and reverse creation of icons. Believe it has a 30 day trial/full version....very easy to use....

Change of product key under W2k

Using "regedit", navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion and look for "Product ID" & "Product Key" lines. But 1st I would back up my registry , because if you mistakenly key in a wrong number in either of these two registry entries , your version of windows will not be registered and will fail to boot.....So be careful.....

drivers for my voodoo2 card in w2k on amd duron

I have a similar setup.950MHZ Duron,voodoo3 16mb pci. I'm assuming the drivers for win2k you're referring to came from either the original CD or from voodoofiles.com.I personally d/l'ed the drivers from "voodoofiles" website. This is best because win2k will install its own drivers , but their drivers do not support openGL.MY advice would be to uninstall the device, making sure the graphics adapter chosen is set to "standard graphics adapter" reload with new drivers from 3DFX.com or Voodoofiles.com and make sure that DirectX8.0 or higher is installed prior to driver install (required)....hope this helps...worked for me...

    Windows XP Dual Boot Configuration

By now , you probably know this, but all versions VMware do not currently support directx or direct sound. Any app or game requiring it will probably fail,as it did in my case.I wanted it for running older games, but unfortunately most of those games require directx. Other than that, Vmware is a very handy tool that loads within another OS.You can install it on XP and run any other OS (W9X,NT,W2K,Linux......)
