Death at Red Sox / Yankees Game

unfortunately none of it is. the sad part is no one knows exactly what this girl was doing at the time the pepper spray was fired at her and no one understands why the police were aiming so high in the first place. those weapons are non lethal as long as they strike anywhere from midchest down. but firing it at someones head is just askin for a lawsuit.

    SATA - Slow datatransfer ZZZZzzzz

well ya screwed up by buyin intel for starters. just being told that you need some screwy application accelerator or whatever its called should have thrown up a red flag. personally i would can your system or get your money back, and go with the amd 64 bit processors.

    Windows xp 64bit vs 32bit

Quote: Quote: I don't see why you shouldn't be able to run 32 bit apps on a 64 bit system unless they want to try and screw us all over. We can run 8 and 16 bit programs on 32 bit Windows. You'll be able to run 32bit stuff. On the Intel 64bit system it'll run in a compatibility mode, with reduced performance. On the AMD side 32bit will run native, with no slowdown. 16bit isn't supported at all on the Intel. I'm not sure about the AMD. from what i was reading 64 bit windows won't support 16 bit programs only 32 bit.

    Matrix Revolution (likely spoliers)

i agree with you jmmijo. i also agree the movie should have explained more. i feel like the ending didn't really move me like it should have. it left a lot questions unanswered.

    more cpu temp advice

i'm running an xp 1800+ at the stock speeds and i'm getting temps of 50 - 53C, is that normal? i read some were that the temp should be no more than 39C and that if i was runnin at 50C that it was too high. anyone care to shed some light on that?

    more cpu temp advice

i forgot the name of the cooling i bought i know it has a 60mm fan on it. i'm also running the msi kt4v board. i should also mention i did have the processor overclocked before to about 1.8 ghz and the temp on the processor was the same as it is now.

    3DFX + GeForce = GeForce FX ?? Hmmm

Quote: CPU and GPUs are completely different architectures, and have different instruction sets, that's why. i knew that already.

    3DFX + GeForce = GeForce FX ?? Hmmm

Quote: Quote: why would they do something as dumb as that? ;( because it is going to be the same way anyways. they want faster GPU's as they needed faster CPU's. why not just modify the product that is already there instead of building a totally new one !!! why not? that is going to be a revelution! my question still stands if they wanted a fast cpu why would they use an overrated chipzilla chip?

    3DFX + GeForce = GeForce FX ?? Hmmm

Quote: Quote: This cooling does have an advantage: The GPU won't put as much heat into the case. Overclockers, rejoice! the memory clock is 1000 Mhz and the GPU clock is 500MHz. Question: why they don't just use a Pentium 3 CPU instead? it is going to be the same!!! may be even cheaper!!! why would they do something as dumb as that? ;(

    MAX PAYNE CHEAT PROBLEMS

    MAX PAYNE CHEAT PROBLEMS

is that the folder you have the game installed in? if i'm not mistaken your gonna have to set the shortcut to were the game is actually installed and then add the -developer after the maxpayne.exe. the one they give you is the default install location.

    FSB (Front Side Bus) confusion

Quote: want another fun one? everybody seems to think that pc800 rdram has an 800 mhz bus... but that is not so. pc800 runs on a quad pumped bus at 100 mhz (100 x 4 = 400) but the chip INTERNALLY moves data equivalant to 800mhz. it has to run at sutch a high clock rate to make up for the inherently high latency in the design. kinda the reason why intel has such high clock rates and amd can run processors at lower speeds and get similar performance...
