    i have the same problem too - game crashes when i enter a subgame ... i sure wish eidos or square would give us a little help on this one instead of just sayin "yeah well, you're using xp and we don't wanna have to go out of our way to help you on an unsupported OS" can anyone help?!

    i'm trying to run FF7 on WindowsXP and it runs fine UNTIL I enter a subgame like chocobo racing or the submarine scenes. I've seen all of the app compatability stuff for win2k, but does anyone know of a solution that works for sure under windowsXP? i promise to worship you if you help fix the problem ... well ... strongly admire, at least ...
