    Crusader: No Regret

The only way I was able to run Crusader by booting back to DOS to run a full DOS session. Crusder will not run in a DOS box.

    Duke Nukem 3D

Is your joystick on a USB port? If yes, then you need to switch it to a COM port.

    playing redneck rampage

You should be able to get it to play using standard SB setting for audio. I think it is SB Pro, 5, 1, 5. Regardless you probably won't be able to run it in high resoultions. The only resolution I can get out of any Build engine game is 320x200.

    Red Alert

You have to use compatibility mode to run the install program. Once installed D/L the latest patch (I think it is 1.009) and apply it. After that it should work fine. If you have any other problems I would go post on the PlanetCNC forums (www.planetcnc.com).

    Final Fantasy VII crashing

Eidos recently put a statement on their website that basically says the this is a known problem and they aren't going to do anything about it. Bummer.

Dual Boot with Win98 and XP

Thanks, It looks like I will have to reformat my drive anyway as my current installation of XP is using NTFS. So, I'll be installing Win98 first anyway.

Dual Boot with Win98 and XP

Anyone successfully (or unsuccessfully) attempted to dual boot with XP? I've heard that it's a bit different than dual booting with 2000 or NT.

    Build games and XP

Oops! I thought he was talking about a product that emulated DOS under XP since he capitalized the word real.

Do you have a web link for Real DOS?

    Build games and XP

As far as VESA support goes. I have another DOS game (Settlers 2) that I run at 1024 x 768 in XP. So I know that XP and my video card (GeForce 3 Ti200) can handle higher resolutions. As far as Connectix Virtual PC goes, it looks good but it's a bit pricey ($199). Any other suggestions?

    Build games and XP

I am having some trouble getting games using the Build engine (Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage) to run properly. I can configure the sound just fine but regardless of what I do to the config file the game will only run in 320x200 resolution. Setting screenmode = 2 has no effect. Is there something I am missing?

    Suggestions

Is it possible to sort the lists? They don't seem to be listed alphabetically. Also it would be nice to be able to filter the lists by OS. Just a thought. Thanks
