He did say that he had created seperate accounts but that was ****ed , so i suggested using one account for all. If it´s your kids and wife they prolly wont **** anything up.

make everyone log in as Administrator. I dont understand why people want to have differient backgrounds etc , i dont want to waste time on that. But if you want to do it the hard way then i think using 3 os´s is crazy. Rather try to find information on how to fix this bug thing with the app installation etc.

xp home edition. Unless you want to die.

it is of course entirely up to you. If you aren´t afraid of hackers etc people who want to hurt your system and or read your files then it´s ok.

I had a folder called "Audio Programs" and now after system consistency check the folder is called "audiop~1. á" and i can´t access it. I have over 200 folders and many files in there , any help appreciated.

Here´s the situation : I have a computer with Windows XP Pro (2600) and there are two things i´m wondering about. How can i disable the consistency check (the pc has a fat32 table instead of ntfs , changing to ntfs is not an option) When i go to the Windows Update website i get errors while trying to install the critical updates (no updates were installed , the following failed to install etc...) Any ideas are appreciated.
