AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU Review
We covered AMD’s Ryzen 3000 CPU series when it launched early last month. If you aren’t familiar with our coverage of the series, you should start with our coverage of the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X as your primer. The only CPU we tested specifically was AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9 3900X CPU. Today, we are looking at the Ryzen 7 3700X. There were always plans to review more of AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series from the start, so we apologize for the late coverage.

Unfortunately, reviewing these CPU’s has been problematic due to the various teething issues with the X570 platform and the boost clock issues with these CPU’s, this proved to be much more difficult than one would have expected. This is the reason for the delay in coverage. We wanted to gather as much information as possible, rather than just running benchmarks and saying a CPU was or wasn’t a good buy. Like many things, it isn’t quite that simple.

Huawei MateBook E Review: The best Windows on ARM PC that you can't buy
Huawei's MateBook E is exclusive to China, but it's one of only three Snapdragon 850 PCs that exists. Unfortunately for people outside of China, it's objectively the best one on the market.

MSI RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming X Review
Before I head out for vacation I have been working on a lot of testing of video cards. We have a stack of RX5700 and RX5700 XT’s upcoming but there have been delays here and there on those. I have had the chance to spend some time with the RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming X from MSI. I’ve had one other 2070 SUPER aftermarket card in the office and I was impressed with it. MSI, on the other hand, hasn’t disappointed me yet when it comes to their Gaming X cards. So I’m excited to take a closer look at the card and then check out how it performed in our test suite. If you are ready to throw down on an RTX 2070 SUPER, would this be the card for you to get? I’m going to find out soon, let's go!

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FE Overclocking
On July 2nd, 2019 NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER video cards. The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER would debut at a retail price of $499. The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER would debut at a retail price of $399. It wasn’t until July 9th that they were available, but we were able to test performance on both video cards in the format of NVIDIA’s Founders Edition video cards. In our review, both video cards performed exceptionally well in games. However, there was one aspect of performance we did not have time to dive into yet, overclocking.

SilverStone SX700-G 700W SFX Power Supply Review Review
SilverStoneTek is a company best known for its high quality cases but their product lines extend into other components such as cooling, power supplies (of various model lines that range from 300W to 1350W in DC output), fans, and storage solutions. SilverStone has built up this impressive product repertoire since its founding in 2003. For this review, we are looking at the SX700-G which is one of SilverStone’s SFX products. It is produced in conjunction with Sirfa.

Sirfa Electronics Co., Ltd. is a name that is not that familiar to most users but Sirfa has been around since 1996 when Sirtec established Sirfa as a factory in the Sirtec group on mainland China. In June 2008, Sirtec sold off its interest in Sirfa making the company independent of the Sirtec brand but still in business with High Power. As such, while we have not seen any Sirfa produced power supplies under the Sirfa brand, some of the Sirtec units of the past were produced at the Sirfa facility. Additionally, we have seen Sirfa providing OEM services for Thermaltake, Enermax, PC Power & Cooling, Tuniq, Lepa, SilverStone, and others with mixed results.

Ubiquiti UniFi Protect Video Security Review
I have had my fair share of security cameras and full NVR systems over the year, including some of the highest rated systems like Arlo and Logitech Circle. After researching for the UniFi Networking article, I to my surprise found Ubiquiti has a full line of security products and just had to check them out. Reaching out to Ubiquiti, we discussed my layout and what systems I had used in the past and then was sent three components that represent their full line of security. At the root or base of this system is the UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus; this allows management of both your UniFi networking and video platforms using UniFi SDN and Protect apps available on both Android and iOS.
