A new version of the AM application manager for AppImage is available. AM is an application manager that functions as an installer, updater, and AppImage manager and takes inspiration from AUR. It currently contains over 1800 AppImage packages and official standalone applications for GNU/Linux, which are derived from tar and zip archives. The new version includes a new option (-f) that displays the version number of the applications that have been installed.
The versions 4.2.2 and 4.1.4 of Godot are now available for download. The maintenance release for Godot 4.2.2, which includes bug fixes that were tested in 4.3 development snapshots, is significantly larger than the typical patch releases. Both version 4.2.2 and version 4.1.4 are released at the same time, with the 4.1 branch being backported for the most secure fixes and quality-of-life enhancements that are specifically designed for production use. The 4.2 branch is used for most in-development projects.
Core Update 185 of IPFire 2.29 has been released, which includes a new IPFire intrusion prevention system (IPS) that is based on Suricata 7 as well as bug fixes and package updates. Support for HTTP/2, deflate compression, byte-ranges, TLS client certificates, IKEv1, PostgreSQL protocol, BitTorrent parser, QUICv1 and GQUIC, and Linux Landlocked — all of which are designed to prevent damage — are included in the update.
