Adrenalin Software Edition 19.10.1 Performance Analysis with the Red Devil RX 590
As a BabelTechReviews regular feature, this Adrenalin Software Edition 19.10.1 Performance Analysis will chart the performance of more than 36 PC games using the latest drivers that released last week. We will compare these drivers with 19.6.1 from June before the RX 5700 Series released using the the Red Devil RX 590.

We benchmark at 1920×1080 and at 2560×1440 resolutions using the latest games, and we also recently added Borderlands 3 and Gears 5.

We use a Core i7-8700K which turbos all 6 cores to 4.8GHz, an EVGA Z370 FTW motherboard, and 16GB of T-FORCE XTREEM DDR4 at 3866MHz. The games tested, settings, and hardware are identical except for the driver versions being compared.

BIOSTAR S120 256GB SATA SSD Review
Today we’ll be taking a quick look at the BIOSTAR S120 – 256GB SATA SSD, which uses a new type of SSD controller from Maxio. Looking at the specifications, BIOSTAR claims that the S120 offers a maximum read performance of 550MB/s with a write speed of 520MB/s. In terms of performance, it should fall somewhere in between their G330 and G300 SSDs.

SSDs are now an essential part of today’s PCs. As prices go down, there’s no reason not to get yourself a SSD as an OS drive (boot drive), or if your budget allows, get a larger capacity SSD and use it as a main C: drive.

Seagate Backup Plus Portable 5TB HDD Review
This is a truly small drive, at least when we consider that we get up to 5TB capacity here. With its measurements of just 115mm by 80mm, it really isn’t big. The thickness is a little more than some other drives, but it isn’t a lot either with it being less than 21mm thin. Size matters for a portable drive and Seagate has managed to keep that low. The weight is equally low with just 265 grammes. Just put it in your pocket and take it where ever you go. Thanks to the bus-powered drive, you don’t need to carry a power supply either. That’s another big bonus for a portable drive.
