JohnnyLC 0 Posted August 17, 2000 i'm using win2000, and norton antivirus 7. when i'm using IE, and i click the right button of my mouse trying to view the source of the page, norton antivirus always appears and scan the file, how do i make norton antivirus not to scan the file when i'm viewing the source? thanks! bobbinbrisco 0 Posted August 18, 2000 are u using NAV2000 (ver.6.0) because i don't think there's a version 7? anyhow to stop NAv scanning anything u simply disable 'autoprotect'. there's an icon on ur system tray near the clock. right click the icon>disable Share this post Link to post
MoreLight 0 Posted August 18, 2000 Version 7 is the Corporate or Network edition. Best product they ever made. I checked view source the same way you did and the scanner never kicked in. Maybe it should. You can probably stop that by right clicking the Nav icon in the systray (looks like a little gold mouse) and click on the "Enable file system real time protection" to disable it.
