DX installation hack

Sorry to post such a dumb question but I've been too chicken to hack the DX settings on my NT4 machine up to now, but I'm getting sick of crappy framerates under OpenGL.

 

Could someone post a link to a site that will help me get the right files and then tell me what to do with them to get better than DX3 or whatever I have at the moment.

you can get directx 5 for nt, go to http://ftpsearch.lycos.com and search for dx5nt4.zip that should help some, but I totally recommend getting win2000 if you can.

Hacking Dx3 to DX5/6 will not improve OpenGL scores.
