Ground Control - Direct X 7.0a?

Trying to install ground control, in win2k pro, and it wants me to put on directx 7.0a to work properly. Says it isnt installed. Do i need this? I thought win2k already had this version.

 

 

Is directx 8 worth going to yet?

Has installed it succefully on win2k with directx 8 beta and I work perfectly

I installed DirectX8 beta and I have no problems at all. It seems to be a bit faster then DirectX7a.

W2k comes with DX7, not DX7a.If JBoDEAN and Shadey says it works with DX8, why don't u try that!?
