sticky keys in Tomb Raider II

By pressing two keys at once (eg. 'run' + 'jump'), one of them will get stuck until being pressed again.

 

Accessability options have been uninstalled.

 

does this problem occur in other games as well, and is there a solution?

This is a wellknown and hated problem which occurs in tons of games under Win2000. No workaround exists.
