Viper V770 Ultra/ Sound Blaster Live Value w/win2k liveware...

Can't chose higher resolution than 840X460 and 8 bit color. Using detonator 3.78 drivers... also tried 5.13 and 5.02 (sorry if i got some of the numbers wrong)

Also, if i enable hardware support for audio... then test the sound, the computer restarts. If i set it on hardware support and don't test it, the computer restarts at beginning of game...

WTF?

Lemme know if you guys have any suggestions!

Yeah, I haven't gotten it to work either. Whenever I try to start a new game, I get a stop error saying irq not less than or equil to or something like that. Anyone got any ideas?

It's the EAX setting that's causing the crash. If you disable hardware acceleration of sound you can play the game.I don't know if this is due to Win2000 or EAX support under it.The game seems to demand EAX 2.0 I'm wondering if it's EAX 1.0 we got with creative's drivers.
