Win2k SMP Q3 with a voodoo3?

Anyone been able to get multiprocessor support in Q3 with a voodoo3, Abit BP6 and duel celerons? I'm using the drivers provided by this site I Have the new 3dfxogl.dll renamed to 3dfxvgl.dll and it plays quake sweet @ 53fps in high quality. However, it goes black except for a strip across the top that i can sorta see my desktop and the key shortcuts that i'm using trying to exit q3. Anyone get this to work at all?

Quake3 doesnt support R_SMP 1 for the Voodoo3

 

You have to have a Nvidia or Ati based card for SMP support.

well that's pretty stupid, why not?

Do to fact that you & I & everyone esle is use Win9x OpenGL ICD witch dosen't support SMP mode.

I like to point out that the NT4 OpenGL ICD dosen't work under Windows2000.
