GeForce Twin View problems ?

Recommended Posts

I think I read on this forum about a bug in Windows 2000 that would not let videocards like the GeForce with TwinView and G400 DualHead display different resolutions on two connected monitors.

Has this been fixed ?

I was thinking of replacing my two videocard solution with a GeForce TwinView, but the monitors would have to be in different resoultion (17" and 15").

to my knowledge it has not yet been changed.

I have built quite a few systems with the g400 and the g450 and i did not find a work around for this issue.

It is not exactly a bug persay it is that win2k looks at the card as one big wide desktop not two individual ones.

What i would recomend is that you buy a more powerful geforce pure and a cheap pci board for the second monitor.

I got my pci card for $22.50 including shipping

I think that i got it a http://www.compgeeks.com/
