Ashland, OR - Open Door Networks, Inc. and Project A, Inc. (We-Envision.com) announced that they are celebrating two major milestones in their iPhone development efforts. The companies have just sold their 100,000th "Envi" application, and have 50 apps shipping through the iTunes App Store.

We-Envision.com's line of topic-specific Web-image browsing applications has grown from the original iEnvision Web-image browser, shipped as a first-day native app in July, 2008, to a comprehensive set of inexpensive apps on topics including art, cars, space, travel and the great outdoors, and just-plain fun. As the line has grown, so have its sales.

"If you had told me less than a year ago we'd be shipping 50 apps and have sold 100,000, I'd have told you you were crazy," said Alan Oppenheimer, president of Open Door Networks. "Kudos to Apple's great platform, and a big thank-you to our insanely loyal fan base."

"And wait until you see what we have planned for iPhone OS 3.0," hinted Jim Teece, president of Project A.

As part of its celebration, We-Envision.com is shipping a free, major upgrade to the product line, and also the first-ever free Envi app, "Envi Sampler" (see "Open Door Networks and Project A ship major updates to Envi apps.")

Many of the upgraded 2.0 apps are currently shipping through the iTunes store, most for 99 cents each, along with iEnvision 2.0 and Envi Sampler. Other upgraded (and new!) apps will soon follow. Currently shipping upgraded apps include:

* Art: Architect Envi, Art Envi, Art Envi Deluxe and Art Envi Impressionist

* Cars: Camaro, Ferrari, Jag, Lambo, Maserati, Mustang, Porsche, T-Bird and Vette Envi

* Space: Earth and Planet Envi

* Fun: Dog, Haircut, Jet, Shoe, Train and Wedding Envi

* Outdoors: Bridges Envi, Outdoor Exposure, Parks Envi Deluxe, Scotland Envi and Yosemite Envi
