Really quick question about 256MB PC133 RAM and the i815e ch

Recommended Posts

Hey...I was just on Pricewatch looking at 256MB PC 133 RAM...and it kept on saying "Athlon compatible only", or "Not compatible with Intel chipsets"

What is going on? My Asus CUSL2 motherboard says it will support PC 133....at a maximum of 256MB per slot...Why does this RAM say it won't work? Granted I saw this in the generic section..but still...the question stands.

Cheap memory is usually just that. I'd recommend going for the "better" quality stuff like the Mushkin. It runs a little faster in memory tests and it's tons more stable.
