news 28 Posted April 14, 2009 Hello, We've just posted our latest review and would love it if you linked to it. Thanks greatly! "When it comes to the crunch, the Powerline AV+ Starter Kit is a dead simple powerline solution that does exactly what it promises. Sure it is pricey and a touch bulky, and I'd have preferred it in white like my existing Netgear stuff, but no configuration means no nonsense. My Internet connection is a paltry 8Mbps, so I experienced absolutely no problem testing the Powerline AV+'s theoretical cap of 200Mbps - the only time I ever got a sniff of the cap was when I was transferring stuff over a local network. I actually clocked the adapters working at around 165Mbps, which is faster than 802.11g (54Mbps), but a bit slower than 802.11n (around 248Mbps). I didn't even experience any slowdown or latency compared to connecting straight into my router. Overall, a satisfying networking experience." http://itreviewed.net/index.php/belkin-powerline-av-starter-kit/ _____ Christian Harris Founder & Editor, http://itreviewed.net info ( -at -) itreviewed.co.uk _____ Share this post Link to post
