and today nothing !!!

no possibility to have the file !

i have a 56k modem and it's hard

I am afraid that Beta 4 is no longer available on Mandrake's FTP mirrors. I suggest you wait until the final release is out (weekend) and then download the file again

RC1 or RC2 Generally refers to 'Release Canidate'. These are generally released after private betas, and are available to the public. RC1 comes before RC2.. I personally haven't seen any release canidate go above 2 before it goes 'Gold' or official.

Looks like Mandrake 9 final is really delayed for another RC3 release first.

The Mandrake team is working real hard to have 7 releases - 4 beta and 3 RC to get Mandrake 9 out. I am impressed. I hope they can gain some more customers due to this kind of commitment.

Zero0w, I'd have to agree on the level of dedication the Mandrake team is putting in... I'm definately going to be taking a look at the final.

Any word on the status of Red Hat 8.0?
