Philipp 6 Posted September 10, 2002 I am afraid that Beta 4 is no longer available on Mandrake's FTP mirrors. I suggest you wait until the final release is out (weekend) and then download the file again Share this post Link to post

adamvjackson 0 Posted September 11, 2002 Quote: What is the RC2 appelation ? RC1 or RC2 Generally refers to 'Release Canidate'. These are generally released after private betas, and are available to the public. RC1 comes before RC2.. I personally haven't seen any release canidate go above 2 before it goes 'Gold' or official. adamvjackson 0 Posted September 14, 2002 Do you plan on posting a link to said given mirror? Or is it just if we happen to find it...? Share this post Link to post
zero0w 0 Posted September 18, 2002 Looks like Mandrake 9 final is really delayed for another RC3 release first. The Mandrake team is working real hard to have 7 releases - 4 beta and 3 RC to get Mandrake 9 out. I am impressed. I hope they can gain some more customers due to this kind of commitment. adamvjackson 0 Posted September 18, 2002 Zero0w, I'd have to agree on the level of dedication the Mandrake team is putting in... I'm definately going to be taking a look at the final. Any word on the status of Red Hat 8.0? Share this post Link to post
