The TS-509 Pro is designed for small business to enterprise users who require performance, features, capacity, and manageability. In the ATTO benchmark test run by techPowerUp, the TS-509 Pro showed an impressive result and the author quoted 'it seems the TS-509 Pro can burst smaller amounts of data extremely fast. Smaller is relative here though, 350MB files fly. When transferring DVD images speed settles at around 60MB/s. Still a lot better than most of the competition.' The test results from Benchmark Reviews showed that the TS-509 Pro delivered the best read and write performance in both single disk and RAID 5 configurations.
