JMD 0 Posted May 25, 2000 Good point Tim. Yes I was into suping up old car, I had a 72 Lamans Sport this thing kicked ass,but to get it to kick ass it cost me a kings ransom, when it came time to sell it I got about 10% of what I put in it. I guess the point I was trying to make is what is the cut off point? I guess its up to the individual, if you can afford to go out and spend big bucks just to have the latest and it puts a smile on your face then go for it, but if its putting you in the poor house then maby its time to take a step back and take another look. ldrews 0 Posted May 25, 2000 Well said to this point. I too would agree that it is up to the individual as to where to draw the line. If you have nothing else to spend your money on, than by all means get the latest & greatest. If however, youor funds are limited than you will have to rely on the hand-me-downs from your friends. I am quite content with the system I have now. I recently upgraded from an AMD K6-266 to a dual PII 300 system. It does what I want it to do, and is quite a litte kicker in its own right.
