udma will not allow computer to start.

If i put my hadrives in udma mode, they will not allow windows to start, it just stops half way thru the startup screen. it only works in pio mode. now back in win 98 with this same mobo it worked. any suggestions on how to get it to work?

I have the same problem and the same motherboard. i cant get it to work at all. i took of my hard drives out and it booted up. i hear biostar has a problem with Westerdigital Hard drives... My win2k Also freezes when i play mp3s...

 

HELP! i need my mp3s

I have that same problem, but as far as I can see it only effects my western dgigital 13gig, my 27gig drive works fine.
