Now, when Quake 3 Arena runs it doesn't have a problem as I stated above, but this does. I've tryed to go on the ATI Homepage a few times and I've had nonthing but bad luck

Now on to my question, do I need to update my driver, or the OpenGL itself? I have done hours of Google Searching and I've came up with nonthing in the end.

Any help would be great

Thanks.

You could try setting your desktop res to different color depths.

If 32bit (does Rage support 32bit? It's been 6 years since I tried gaming on a rage128...and half-life ran like crap), seen alot of Rage chips in servers tho....they do 2D fine.

Also search the net for unofficial Rage drivers...there was a site where a guy put together Rage drivers because ATI was too pathetic to create proper drivers themselves...but I can remember his name even tho I should because he's pretty well known for helping out poor pre-radeon video card users. ( ATI radeon drivers are a million times better nowadays but their OGL support is still sorry compared to Nvidia).
