PaTiNsAnE 0 Posted December 22, 2004 Hi, I just bought some PC2700 SODIMM ram for my dell laptop. I made sure it was the right type and everything but when I try to boot it up, the little lock thingy with an "A" on it just blinks, then it shuts off. The notebook has 256 mb already and I wanted to add 256 more. When I boot with the other ram it works fine, but whenever the new ram is in it (alone or with other) it doesn't boot.
