bushrat 0 Posted September 19, 2004 I have WD 120GB external HD. It can work on USB 1 and 2, I'm running Win XP SP1 and I have USB 1. The HD worked fine (except for the slow transfer rate ) but lately I have a problem writing to the HD. It reads fine, but when it comes to writing large files, it stops and IO ERROR message comes up. Any ideas on what's the problem or how to fix it ? Share this post Link to post
