ENABLE ActiveX in IE

Recommended Posts

This is driving me nuts now - on NT4 machine, IE6 seems to have had ActiveX disabled, yet I dont see how, as the IE security options show it firmly enabled!

Everything that uses ActiveX on the system (programs other than IE, not notably IE itself, for things like flash, pdfs, etc) all come up with the message saying:

"This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, the page may not display correctly."

Any ideas?! I dont want to just get rid of the message, I want to reenable activex!
