Scared the crap outta some skateboarders

Recommended Posts

Where I work, some punk kids keep coming onto the property and skateboard around. We've told them not to, but these little pukes don't seem to get it. This past saturday (feb 2) one of the guys I work with got a bunch of names from some little squirts, so we know the punks who continue to come back. Today (Sun) 5 of us on the shift got the upper hand on these guys. We basically told them we were calling the cops--we didn't but a few of the punks started to cry and they all left. Now we're all just waiting for them to come back so we can screw with their minds again.:D

I'm working on some lines to say to the next skateboarder to come on property.

"You aren't supposed to be on this property"

"Why?"

"Number 1, we don't want you to be here, and number 2 if you don't I'm gonna have the cops come and drag you to Wood Youth Center (local juvenile prison)."

Anybody got some other, legal, non-harmful, means of scaring the hell out of these guys.

heh, i used to be one of those 'skatepunks' back in the days, i really don't see anything wrong with skating around unless ofcourse they are damaging property. We usually skated during the off hours so never got any hell from anybody, plus we never damaged property and hell, some of the workers would even sat and watched us skate.

anyways...if you REALLY want them off your property, find out what attracts them there, usually some curbs, or a ramp of some sort and alter it so it's not fun to skate there.

but, all in all, let the kids have fun, no need to bully them around.

I heard in Texas it would be much easier and effective:

Pull out the 12-gauge, MUHHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!

You Yanks have weird ways of doing things, really smile

So, not only did you push around some kids, but you are now bragging about it? Um, nice...

In any case, I use to skate too. You don't want them around, do what three mentioned; just put bolts and such on the curbs, banks, and such they use and remove the reason to come back.

No, we didn't push them around. We've asked these guys, on many occasions to not skate on the property. I have nothing against skateboarders, but when we've asked them repeatedly to not skate here and they do, we're gonna start to get tough with them. These are like middle schoolers. Some littler kids (6-years old or so) spilled the names of the guys that keep coming over here. We all came out just as a sort of scare tactic alont with *calling the cops*. We have skateboarding parks in town, we've told these kids not to skate here, yet they still keep coming back. We figure, if we can simply scare these kids off, that's fine. I'm not going to push these kids around, for legal reasons, unless they phsyically attack me.

I'll have to talk it over with my supervisor to see what we can do with the curbs and such. I've also suggested getting some signs put up too...

The reason, which I should've remember before, is because we've had skateboarders trying to get into some storage barns before. I personally don't give a rip about the skateboarders business, but I'm following work orders to kick those guys off the property. It's private property number 1, and for safety and legal reasons, we don't want them to be anywhere near those barns in the first place.

It's just that I've been told specifically that skateboarders aren't allowed to skate on the property.

Some skateboarders were caught trying to get into one of the storage barns, and besides the breaking and entering part they could steal stuff (why they'd want to steal the stuff we store in there is beyond me), if one of them got injured we could be held liable.

I'm following orders, otherwise I wouldn't care.
