Rooski 0 Posted August 14, 1999 I just can't seem to install the NT4 drivers for my Diamond S90 pci sound card (Vortex 1). I'm using service pack 3, which the drivers require. After the installation routine, I recieve an error message that reads something like: "Cannot load Vortex driver. Please check PNP OS settings in bios". I use an Abit BX6r2 motherboard. I have tried all the settings I could think of (like assigning a particular IRQ to the card's pci slot, ect.) but I just keep getting the same error. I've tried the latest Diamond drivers, as well as the latest reference drivers for the Vortex 1 chip. I still think it's something to do with the settings in the bios. Can anyone shed some light on the proper way I should setup the card in the bios for my BX6r2? Share this post Link to post
