My Netgear rt314 router just dont work, help whats wrong wit

well yesterday DSL went poof

guess it was dsl

well today i found out dsl is fine

works fine on a single pc

 

router works fine via 10/100 base lan

just dsl no work with router

 

the prob is the damn netgear dont got a clear router crap

u have to get into the router before u can clear crap

i cant get into router either with lan or telnet

what gives

 

please help

i have tried many times

 

has this happened to anyone

i remember other peeps have had this prob

well i guess NETGEAR is crap

i chucked my linksys router for this POS :|

wrong move

time to RMA

So, your PCs see each other OK on the LAN? Were you using it as DHCP server? If the DHCP portion went on the fritz (or just needs to be reset), you will lose connectivity to the router and hence have no control of it or access through it. If you set your PC to a static IP that is in the same range as what it was assigning, you should be able to "see" the router on the network and get back into it.

the POS was working fine yesterday
all of a sudden no work
i know think the lan works fine cause the router tests pass and i get the network icon on win2k

my dsl 100% works
i just cant get access to router either with ip or telnet
anyways i was using my router with DHCP

Do all of the workstations have the same IP as they did before it went out?
