ThC 129 0 Posted April 28, 2001 i ended up killing it by going into safe mode and deleting that and the Movie Maker directory. Bye bye WMP8 HELLO WMP 6.4 Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted April 29, 2001 don't matter to me, WMP8 opens just as fast here as WMP 6.4 does now, especially when the 1 MB usage or so now. WMP8 is better on my machine here than WMP 6.4 and I rather have the 8.0 codecs, they are smoother as far as quality and stuff Share this post Link to post
bug_666 0 Posted April 29, 2001 assuming that wmp6 is there, can't you just associate it with all the media types? Share this post Link to post
miku 0 Posted April 29, 2001 You can do this using Unattended setup. Under [Components] wmplay=off. Thats it! ARC Share this post Link to post
CrashNBurn 0 Posted May 3, 2001 How do you do an unattended setup? I would love to be able to install WinXP/Win2k w/o some things like Windows Media Player, MSN messenger, and Outlook Express. Thanks CrashNBurn Share this post Link to post
