Converting From Win2K to Win98

Recommended Posts

Hello. I'm having a problem... I've installed WIN2K Pro, on my PC (PII 350, 6,4 GB, 64mb SDRAM, TNT, SB128PCI). I've formatted my HD with NTFS file system.

But now I'm getting all types of error messages when trying to install anything.

I've tried to remove WIN2k, but I couldn't do it, because I've made a partition with all my HD. And IT CAN NOT BE REMOVED!!!! (that's what it says)

The question is: HOW CAN I REMOVE WIN2K FROM MY PC?

Thankx.

Try this,

-Boot to a Windows 98 boot disk

-Run fdisk and delete nondos partitions.

-Install new OS.

Should work.

But I do agree with nagual, W2k is the best Windows out. So I'm guessing you have a program that just will not work in W2k.
