I haven't tried to overclock the CPU or GPU. FSB is 100. Any other suggestions?

I tested my 15 inch goldstar monitor since it only allows me 75Hz on 1024*768 and puted it on 85 Hz, but when I checked the OSD it still displayed 75Hz. So it doesn't go out of range, but sets itself to the highest valid refresh rate. weird?? :x At least i'm sure this is the max ref rate

NV Refresh tool don't work. Is there a way to directly change the register with regedit? There's also something else. When I run 3dmark 2001 SE it crashes to the desktop between pixel shader and pint sprites. I'm using DX8.1 windows XP geforce 2 MX. Any ideas?[/b]

monitor power management is garbage. (it workes fine on w98) Monitor sleeps after few minutes all normal but it wakes up few minutes later, without me doing anything. It happens periodicaly sleep, wake, sleep, wake... it sucks. Hard drive power management works fine. APM support is enabled. Any ideas? Please help. ver XP 2505 QDI brilianx IS 2000, clereon 300A (oc 450) 128 mb ram, Ati 3D rage II+ PCI.

But it still happens. I tested a bit more. My normal setting are: turn off monitor: after 3 minutes turn off hard disks: after 10 minutes The monitor goes standby after 3 minutes, and wakes up after ther disks turn off. Then I tried turn off monitor: after 10 minutes turn off hard disks: after 10 minutes After 10 minutes monitor just blinks, and stay on turn off monitor: after 10 minutes turn off hard disks: after 5 minutes monitor doesn't enter sleep mode at all. It sucks. I had the same problem in win2000. The monitor sometimes didn't go to sleep at all. Perhaps I'll try a new motherboad.
