dets4 all suck, all but 20.80(so so)for me 12.90 are still the best in dx, 10.80 in opengl(if i could just mix them).

I think you need to flash your bios not on your gf2 but onto your mobo, alot of people needed to flash mobo bios when they wanted to run XP. Check the posts and you'l see. Flashing video card is very rearly needed if ever(and also very risky) try to borrow somebodys elses card and see will it work:D . Hope u dont have sblive ;(

Tried lot of drivers(12,12 series....)but im particulary interested in mixin 1290 for d3d and 1080 for openGL! Did it in WinMe with no problems at all!!!I mean mixed drivers, not that i mixed 1290 with 1080.

I did q3a and 3dmark(both of them) and XP is slower in 3dmark 2000,but in q3a and 3d mark 2001 XP is equal or faster! Tried almost every dets that are out(1290 are the best)...

Yes it is slower than WinMe but(a little)but it will outperform Win2000 any day(atleast for me) i have final XP Pro !!! Dunno about those betas and RC-s

well my friend has got the same modem except his is connecting in 52.000(usualy 50.666) and mine is 45.000 grrrrrrrrrrr, it is a GVC internal fax modem(motorola chip).

Kill me if i remembered to do that, will have to try it ! Did you try that or it is just theoretical, but it makes sense if the NTkernel based os doesn't support dos.

Problem is Brian that XP cd doesn't want to boot in dos. Dunno about the rest of your solutions, I'l have to try it the next time i reinstal my sys. Thanx guys, keep em comin !!!
